Become a Community Partner

The NEWCOMERS ACCESS CENTER (NAC) depends upon Community Partners to meet its mission to “help refugee and immigrant families connect with appropriate services and resources in order to aid them to become self-sufficient and integrate meaningfully into the larger society. NAC finds organizations to work with newcomers to build integrated communities where all cultures are respected.”

 

Here’s What Community Partners Do:

  • Encourage their employees, donors, congregations, families and friends to support the Newcomers Access Center (NAC) financially and through volunteering.

  • Co-sponsor community events with the Newcomers Access Center.

  • Provide community resources for refugee and immigrant populations.

  • Make in-kind donations of office equipment, gift cards, and professional services such as printing, legal, signage, accounting or IT support.

  • Share their expertise on issues relevant to immigrants and refugees.

  • Promote the work of NAC via their newsletters, e-communications, social media and other communication channels.
