Ms. Stricklan provided newcomer families with three essential emergency documents—Temporary Caregiver Authorization, HIPAA Release, and Durable Power of Attorney. These documents help ensure that, in the event of an unforeseen crisis, families have clear legal protections in place for caregiving, medical decision‑making, and financial matters. Families received private, confidential appointments at the Newcomers Access Center to review and complete these documents.
